COVID-19 GUIDELINES
What to Expect
First College continues to ensure the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff and clients.
We are following all public health measures set forth by the BC Ministry of Health to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
Please review the guidelines below and contact us with any questions or concerns.
Before Your Appointment
Please complete the BC COVID-19 Self-Assessment tool one day prior to your appointment (https://bc.thrive.health/covid19/en)
Please cancel your appointment if you are experiencing any COVID-type symptoms
If you have travelled outside of BC or have been in contact with a person who has COVID-19 within the last 14 days, please do not book an appointment and cancel any existing appointment within that time frame
If you are currently awaiting results of a COVID-19 test or have contracted the virus, please call us to cancel your appointment
*Our cancellation policy has been relaxed under any of the above circumstances
Preparation for your Appointment
To help reduce the possibility of transmission, we are asking the following:
Please arrive within 5 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, as we are unable to accommodate more than 3 people in the reception area at one time
Please wear a mask when you enter the building, for the duration of your appointment and when leaving the building
Avoid bringing anyone else to your appointment unless you require assistance
Upon arrival, please sanitize your hands
Your temperature will be taken at the reception desk and you will be required to fill out a COVID-19 screening assessment
Please follow physical distancing protocols in the reception area and throughout the College
First College Student Clinic Preparation
To help reduce the possibility of transmission, First College has implemented the following protocols:
All students, faculty and staff are required to take their temperature and complete a COVID-19 screening upon arrival at the College each day (First College Coronavirus (COVID-19) Compliance Guidance on Campus)
A limited capacity has been put in place in all common areas of the College
Hand sanitizer has been placed at the reception area, as well as each treatment room
Students will follow hand-washing protocols before and after each treatment
Treatment rooms and high-touch areas will be disinfected after each treatment
Students will wear a mask during treatment
During your Appointment
You will be required to wear a mask for the duration of your treatment, except when you are face down (prone) during the treatment
The student will wear a mask for the duration of the treatment

CLINIC HOURS
The student clinic is open Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30am to 9:30 pm this term
As our cohorts continue, the clinic will be open multiple days a week
